Apprenticeship at Rauschert

Tim Silber

Apprentice Industrial Mechanic

All the apprentices here are super nice, and we get along really well – real friendships have formed. We often hang out together even after work.

What I find super exciting about Rauschert are the opportunities to go abroad, especially to the locations in Portugal and Italy. Plus, we work on incredibly interesting and important things, like ceramic parts for pacemakers and even projects for aerospace. Nothing can go wrong there, and that high standard really motivates me. But the best part is that we have a lot of fun at work – and we definitely do!

Yannik Matthes

Apprenticeship Toolmaker

The colleagues here are really open and helpful, and they explain everything very well. We have excellent, modern machines, and the apprentice workshop is top-notch. Grinding, milling, turning – we handle these tasks independently on the machines and have a lot of freedom doing so. After just a few weeks, you’re already involved in building tools.

The workplace is easy to reach, and carpooling with others works great too.

Johannes Wiebe

Apprenticeship Mechatronics Technician

All in all, I think the overall package has to be right during an apprenticeship. But the best part of my job is the variety – we frequently rotate between plants during the apprenticeship, meet new teams, and take on many different tasks. I get to help with regular assignments and fully participate in building entire control cabinets, which is incredibly valuable for my future.

The supervision is highly personalized, the colleagues are very knowledgeable, and they answer all questions. Plus, I can contribute my own ideas and suggestions for improvement – that really motivates me!

Leon Kalb

Apprenticeship Industrial Business Administrator

To be honest, I was really curious about what to expect when I started here. But from day one, I was warmly welcomed in every department. My team and my trainer are always friendly and support me whenever I need help.

The best part of the apprenticeship? I’d say it’s how hands-on everything is. Right from the start, I got to participate in real projects. That not only helped me understand everything better but also made me feel like I’m truly contributing. I can always ask questions, bring my own ideas, and feel valued. That’s so motivating!
